I was at a local Meijer store, and they had already done their January reset in the action figure aisle.

They kept a lot of the old stuff (Voyagers, deluxes, cyberverse, etc), got rid of some of it (no more Generations deluxes at Meijer), but I also noticed some new tags, some of which were easier to figure out than others.

Here are the new tags (the first 2 on multiple pegs, the other 3 on the shelf):

Transformers Bot Shot asst - $3.99
Transformers Big Rig Bot Shot asst - $7.99
Transformers Cyberverse Vehicle asst - $19.99
Transformers Prime Energon helmet - $19.99
Transformers Prime Powerizers asst - $19.99

The Cyberverse vehicle is Wheeljack's ship, right? (It's not the DOTM Ark, that's got a separate spot next to it, and is more expensive.) And the helmet is self-explanatory. But what are the Powerizers, and what are those Bot Shot toys? (It's not Rescue Bot stuff, that's already in a separate aisle at Meijer.)

I saw a Target that just did a toy aisle reset too, and they didn't have any spots for new product set aside yet.

Anyone know anything about the Bot Shots and Powerizers?

Intersting sounding stuff there, perhaps bot shots involves shooting figures out of cannons in an amusing circus stylee.

Based on the price point, I'd say the powerizers could be like that Optimus toy with electronics that was revealed the other day, something like a super articulated non-transforming toys with lights and/or sounds. Just a guess though.

Powerizer sounds like a fancy name for Power Bot. I'm guessing it will be something in that vein.

Bot Shots, no idea. Pocket money pricing suggests smaller toys, though. And Shot suggests shooting missiles - maybe a series of smaller toys with missile launchers?

^Maybe the smaller ones that shoot missiles could be put on bases with strength and power ratings, and people could make a game of it!

I've seen these listings in the UK too, there was also something called a 'Revealer' assortment (which was £13) next to the Powerisers...who knows what that is though!?

Im going to wager something similar or tied into the speed-stars line, small rolling figures that come packaged with a launching device to propel them along a surface.

wow, those Cyberverse Vehicles looked like a poor value @ $17.99 for DotM, i'm kinda surprised they are raising the price...

It would be nice if Bot Shots were Legends size but 3.99 seems low for Legends these days...

I guess this is cool for those who are interested in the younger-age toys, but I'm still waiting for Leader Class Prime and Megatron

I would venture to guess that powerizers will be light up versions of the prime figures (transforming or not). The name seems to fight the theme of the Prime Optimus Prime we saw the other day. I would think there will be different price points.

Isn't the Wheeljack one larger than the DOTM vehicles though? It's more of a playset, I thought, and it has electronics too (which always bumps a price)

I'd agree with you, but at the price point mentioned ($19.99) I'd wager not, especially since the Prime toys with electronics will most likely be at least Voyager class, which are $24.99...aren't they? Also, with addtl electronics and various other features they may even be more than that.

But with Hasbro ever vigilant when it comes to potentially pricing items outside the range of fiesty kids with endulgent Mom's, perhaps they have changed things up for 2012 and are able to offer Voyagers with electronics and keep them below $20 bucks. So who knows. Maybe you're right!

Hmm...based on how low the prices are, maybe Hasbro is selling weapon packs/individual weapons? Perhaps the "Big Rig" ones are light up weapons, like what the voyagers come with.

I'm probably wrong, but I suppose we won't know until Toy Fair.

Speaking of which, isn't Toy Fair supposed to be the time for the producers to show to retail what they are making? Isn't it a bit early for this reset?

The Bot shots are similar to the Star Wars fighter pods (micro chibi versions of characters), this was announced at a tformers.com several months ago.. I'm not confirming it since for all we know it might have been false info, if the bot shots are $4 in the US it makes sense for Hasbro UK to sell it at £7 :lol  Thats if they're even released here..

It looks larger, and it features light up elements. Probably more of a downscaled (and downpriced) Ark than an upscaled playset.

Read the rest of my post: I also theorized that the Optimus toy was non-transforming, just articulated. Honestly, there is NO kibble on that toy. Also, Voyagers are $19.99. In any case, I'm a bit curious now. I love it when a new line comes out :D
