Here it is. My first commission. Boss for fellow TFW2005 member Destrongerlupus. I'm not familiar with this character. This was just a straight repaint of the Cybertron Smokescreen I believe. Destrongerlupus did the heas mod using the deluxe Optimus Prime. I just repainted the rest. This was definitely a challenge. With my repainted, I just use the paints I have. For this one, I had to mix colors and constantly compare it to the pictures to make sure they match, I even asked my wife to make sure the colors looked right. I am very proud of this custom. I'll be posting lots of pictures. Maybe even some WIP's. For being my first commission, I even included a bonus custom. I call him "Mini Boss". Destrongerlupus, you can rename him whatever you want.

For what it's worth, I've been calling this "Earth-Mode Boss," since he's slightly Batmobile-esque than his G1 counterpart. I think the cross-shaped intake on the car-mode's front and the rocket-propulsion evokes the original pretty well though.

I want to thank Solrac333 for his hard work, he was a pleasure to work with, checking with me, literally, every step of the way to make sure I was happy. I actually have the figure in-hand now, and the final product is very satisfying, the paints are solid, and don't seem scratch-prone.

    I think I'm gonna call Mini-me "Suck Up" :)

One of my favorite molds from the Cybertron Line, and I love the flame work on his missle. Good work, sir.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like the flame, but now it is by far my favorite part of the commission!

BTW, if any Radicons would be willing to take a custom sticker/water-slide/whatever label commission for this guy, PM me!

I am so glad you like the figure. Thanks for all the comment. I am currently having PC problems so I can't check up on these. I have to see what's wrong.

Hey, cool. I remember having the original G2 figure once not named Boss, but either Blizzard or Snowstorm... =/

DAMMIT! My computer picked a crappy time to die on me. Lots of awesome customs have come up since the movie.

Anyway, it does open up possiblities. When I get up and running again, I want to work on more stuff for Destrongerlupus. Rumble, that would be cool.

Great mold choice for Boss, and I'm loving the detailing you've put into this. DL, you've got a great addition to your custom collection!
