anyone reading this title? geoff johns has made this character so bloody cool....
he's working with rip hunter to travel back in time and fix warp anomallys that were fallout of 52...

its really funny watching how he travels back in time and ends up being a major player in some really awesome events.....one of the really cool ones is that he ends up going back and meeting guy gardner, and talks him into visiting his father. because guy ends up going to see his dad, he ends up not being the closest person when abin sur and therefore hal jordan is closest, and becomes the first earth green lantern. its so sweet!!!

so far 5 issues are out, and its just brilliant...especially issue 5, which deals with booster going back to the night of the killing joke in an attempt to save barbara gordon...

if you arent reading this series, you should be....

Booster Gold has almost always been a solid character, dating back to his first solo series and continuing into Giffen and Co's Justice League. Unfortunately after that ended we got such gems as Extreme Justice, which was, um, really bad. But the two follow up miniseries by Giffen and Co once again spotlighted those fun times, and 52 once again thrust Booster into prominence, and now we have the new Booster Gold, which so far has been once of DC's best books since it's been out.

But of course I'm sure you all know this already.

dude...i totally missed that cuz i looked under b for booster....i saw the all new and my mind just filled in ATOM for BOOSTER GOLD...thank bloody god....i love this book....

that 5th issue was such a great story, and it showed that this book isnt a crutch to just go back and change anything they want to....some things are never meant to change, and thats damn good of them to show. cant wait to see what happens with all this ted kord stuff....

i've grown quite fond of kord and booster, but kords death meant so much, and started SO MUCH that erasing it would be such a drag...here's to hoping ted stays dead

If there is only one DC book anyone could buy, this should be it.

Like I've said before, it makes me very, very happy to know that two of DC's best books right now are Blue Beetle and Booster Gold.

New issue was out today and we finally get to see the Ted Kord issue resolved.

My favorite part of the entire book though was the one panel with the 3 other Blue Beetles and Booster walking Abbey Road album cover style with white stripes on the floor and all.

Judging by future issue solitations, I don't think the Tedi issue is resolved yet. I think booster just created a paradox. But that remains to be seen. My guess is Ted Kord will choose to die to save the future.

The cynical part of me refuses to believe that it will stick, but for the moment, at least, Ted Kord is alive. :music

Issue #6 was a great issue. Ted's back whoo! But they forgot to leave something behind to make Max think Ted was dead. So wouldn't that change the timeline? Also I think that the future Beetle in this issue might end up being Ted Kord.

That's quite a paradox but makes sense.

However the idea of this reaks of QUESADACIDE! How do you still have the entire DCU think Beetle is dead when there is no body? And thus Max lord never is a killer and Wonder Woman never kills him and etc.

Remember kids, comics really do rot your brain.

Wonder Woman killed Max because it was the only way to stop a rampaging Mind-controlled Superman, so that could still happen.

There never was a body. All they got were Ted's goggles and a note.
