If you loved the comic strip, but hated the first season well then I don't know how your going to feel about this cause I never really bothered with the comic strip lol If you loved the first season you should definetly love this episode which is easily on par if not surpassing the funniest episodes of s1. Pt.1 = Pt.2 = Pt.3 = Pt. 4 =
Good episode, but I doubt AS is going to like it being on YouTube. Besides you can watch it on AdultSwim.com for the time being.
Honestly, I don't want to. But I get sick of, "The white man's opression" and all that crap everywhere I go.
Nah, didn't need to. You already played it with your whining about why YOU think the show is not funny.
He's not the only one who thinks the show isn't funny. *Points at himself* Really, I've got nothing against African Americans, or anyone here who's black. But I'll be honest: this show is just...I dunno, off. But, I've seen the show, and it's had it's funny moments.
Isn't he "whining" about the show essentially playing the race card though? I've never watched it so I'm just going by his statement.
Since when is me stating an opinion about a show whining? Oh, just because it doesn't agree with your opinion makes me a bad person? Sorry if I hurt your frail ego, pal.
LOL! it is nothing personal, first you just say the show is not funny with no reason why, then you kinda say why and then you blast me with the race card when your statement is as whinny as any reason to use said card. I don't really care if you like the show or not but all of your comments don't help the thread if you don't care for the show leave the thread. it's that simple.
#1 - I live in America for a reason. FREEDOM. Many freedoms, actually. One of which is speech. #2 - I can have any views on the show I want. I can share said views on this here fancy ol' DISCUSSION BOARD.
I enjoy the show myself, been watching the first season dvd the past few days. I don't think it's ever meant to be a 1/2 hour of comedy even though it's a cartoon. It does have very funny moments (I can't help but laugh every time Riley goes into a fight throwing a chair) even though you're not laughing through the whole show. The strip wasn't a conventional comic strip, I never expected the cartoon to be a typical animated show either.
You sure you don't just live in America since that's where you were born? Or did you emigrate from another country? Those freedoms are just perks that come with the territory of being a citizen (be it by birth or through immigration). Yes, you do have the freedom to say whatever you want, even if it is just to instigate people.
I'm in Lance's albino club (don't mind the ODB avatar), and the Boondocks cracks me up . I find it funny too that Samuel Jackson voices a white guy. He's still pissed off as usual. And the way this thread is heading, in before the lock
