I'm referring more to the presence of HGH and his increased head size more than anything. His body gaining muscle mass (which isn't THAT extreme) In the span of 13 years is totally plausible. It shouldn't be the defining factor in branding Bonds as a juicer. You look at Kirby Puckett in his rookie year compared 1991 and you could see a size difference. No one branded him a juicer. I am sure a good majority of MLB players are juicing. Many of your childhood heroes probably did. Bonds just seems to be singled out as "ruining the sport."
well he's simply the one with the highest profile. as for his mass, it wasn't over 13 years, he was skinny for a long long time.
I'm glad that my votes went towards the asterisk. It's not necessarily the drug use that bothers me, but the denial thereof. I'm all for a juiced league. Make everything legal but bionics. Because that deserves yet another separate league.
I would pay to see a bionic league game. I can picture it now. Randy "Big Unit" Johnson vs Roger "Rocket" Clemens Johnson: GO GO GADGET FASTBALL!!! Clemens: ROCKET STRIKE!!!
Interesting article. Don't have time to quote it now. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7418624?MSNHPHMA
