Even better than Waspinator would be Buzzsaw. Less to repaint that way, since he's already a bee.

Repurpose BW Buzzsaw, maybe add more yellow and customize the 'normal' head? (as opposed to the 'mutant' head that has become associated with Waspinator)

BW Buzzsaw. I'd like to think that PCC Huffer's combiner head would work, assuming it's not too small and somewhat compatible.

I use the Fox Kids Waspinator as my Beast Wars Bumblebee. With the bit of blue he looks more like Goldbug, but I like the deco and I'm not a customizer so it works for me. The color of yellow that Buzzsaw is, that could work as Bumblebee too.

Swap parts between Beast Wars Buzzsaw and Fox Kids Waspinator.

I think choosing Buzzsaw would be the easiest to use, but if you really want to impress peeps, do this:

    Transquito!

It would be fairly simply to modify the insect mode from a mosquito to a bee (just remove the proboscis, paint his abdomen in stripes, and maybe clip his insect legs so they are shorter) and he has the cute, small proportions that would suit Bumblebee. Buzzsaw is a bit too tall and lanky to me, unless you want to make him more a Movie/Prime-type Bumblebee (in which case that would work fine).

Retrax. Less obvious than Waspinator, plus he's all rounded and such like G1 Bumblebee was, and a ground-crawler. More of a spiritual successor to G1 Bumblebee, less the literal successor Waspinator or Buzzsaw would be.

I'd say use Generations Waspinator once you can find one in stores. His wasp mode is pretty bee-esque and I'm sure you can fit a Bumblebee head where Waspinator's original head would go.

When Beast Wars was in early stages Buzzsaw was just going to be Bumblebee (and a Maximal) for what that's worth.

    Clever!

Fox Kids Transmetal Waspinator is another option. Basically TM Buzzsaw... mostly yellow and black already.

Um... this thread was from 2011. So I'm pretty sure he didn't know about Generations Waspinator then...
