Nintendo Revolution just won the console war. Serriously, a well made painting game like that would kick unmeasurable amounts of ass. Not only could it be fun for us gamers, but it will do EXACTLY what Nintendo Revolution was made to do; which is to open up the market and bring in non-gamers. Imagiane painting with the controller, saving your paintings to memorystick, and then sharing them online and printing them out to put on your wall. Totally kickass. If this game is well made, I cant wait to "beat the devil out of it". :rock

Mario Paint still has a following today, so I guess this isn't too much of a stretch...

This is the single greatest concept for a video game in the history of mankind.

Wow. Even third party developers are getting into the 'Nintendo Alternative' vibe.

    I love it.

That's the thing that has me excited about the Revolution, they are not buying into the More of the same but flashier and prettier that Sony and Microsoft are. To be honest there has not been a console game that has come out in the last year that was not a retro title or collection that I have really given a damn about.

This actually EXCITES me, a lot of the stuff on the DS Excites me, Castlevania, New Super Mario Bros., Tetris. I want new things, innovating things, not FPS #XIII with ultra shinny graphics or another Riced and the Redicules Clone, or a let's jump on the MMORPG bandwagon and get you coming and going by charging you for the game and then again for the honor of playing the game you just spent $50+ to get.

I like the idea, but I'm worried about the accuracy of the strokes. I hope you can set it to work so you can basically have the remote right up against the screen, so it feels like you're actually painting, and not just making wild gestures that aren't accurate at all.

A brush controller with different attachments would be awesome, if you could do it right against the screen. THAT would feel like true painting to me.

Well duh. That's messy, and expensive. The video game way, you buy it all in one neat little disc, with unlimited canvases.
