Bah! CBS missed out on same ratings by not coming up with a new reality show, 'The Host is Right!' Let the world vote on who they want to host the show. Do it over the summer, let Bob be one of the judges, and you have a once-in-a-lifetime ratings boost. Of course, I generally don't care for 'reality' television, but I would've watched it. -Tony!
HELL NO!!! I'm actually watching The View since she was technically "fired." She is such a loudmouthed, annoying, condescending "person." I have no respect for her anymore and can't stand watching her. Of all people to replace Bob, I'd say Ellen DeGeneres if they chose a female host or maybe someone with a pleasant demeanor and appearance that would appeal to a wide audience.
I think this is another case of a simple nice statement about someone being taken way too seriously by the media. This was something he was asked backstage at the Emmys for crying out loud. I seriously doubt that any Price is Right Exec ever really considered Rosie for the job, but you know how the media is...anything you say is the cold hard truth, and if it involves a celeb then anything and everything is 'news' worthy.
Not him either. He's nasty, and I don't think he'd want to do it. What about the most recent host from what is now America's Funniest Videos, Tom Bergeron?
I like Rosie O'Donnell. She's awesome. But I don't want to see her doing TPIR. In fact...I can't see anybody but Bob Barker doing it. ...OK, maybe I could see Adam Sandler doing it. I'm glad I don't have to decide these things.
