It seems that most speedy characters have their heads pulled back, like in a 'whoosh'. i won't be able to color it by the end of the contest, but i'll definetley do it. ;)

The only parts i had finished by the day of my flight was everything above the torso. the legs, cutaway, shield, etc. was done on the last day and i finished an hour 4 hour before my flight, or 1 hour before i was to leave for the airport.

    lulz.

I really enjoy the mechanical complexity of this design. I'd love to see more done with this! GREAT work :thumb

    thanks so much :D
i can't find a color scheme that works here for whatever reason :(
alot of the mechanics was hard to draw. to get some inspiration, i actually google'd searches along the lines of 'car parts' and 'engines' and 'hydraulics', etc. i also referenced some movies featuring mechanics, specifically ironman.

    You're very welcome!

I'd simply suggest digibashing several different color schemes, if you haven't already.

Google images is great for reference! It's neat to hear some of your design processes :)
