Wireless USB Cable...? Those words together does not make much sense.

Basically, even though it's only 24 Mbps, it's the world's easiest Wireless technology to set up! Press a button on TV, press a button on DVD player, BAM!! Instant wireless connection that is super fast!

That's all it really is. A simple way to connect multiple devices without wires. I find that really cool.

I think Cheetatron was referring to wireless USB, which will be moving data across at something like 1Gb/s in the newest version. I doubt it's necessary for many small, short range devices, but still pretty cool.

The practical speed after overhead and the like is expected to be around 400 MB/s which is still crazy fast.

I know that the usb group wants to have the receivers in new laptops, and in new devices, they will also have adapters for older computers and devices it's said to be easy but I don't think it's available to consumers just yet
