I went with my Bro-in-law and his kids to the Blue Angels homecoming show at Pensacola N.A.S.
i couldn't see at all, but still had fun.

    anyone here go to it?

The BA performance was great (i heard enough to be happy) but the one thing i won't ever get tired of is the F-18 flyby at a 45 degree angle and at the end of the runway, launches up like the damn shuttle.
    Pure noise and power!

Hopefully, my sight will return soon so i can go to the airshows in the spring.

Man I love going to the air shows up here in Huntsville. Unfortunately I had to work the last one and we had a storm come in and it killed a little boy.

If you live right next to NAS, you can see and hear them flying all that time practicing. I used to work at NAS and I used to hear them flying all the time.

I remember one time, about 10 workers and myself were standing outside of Building 604. One of the pilots must have seen us and he flew by on top of us pretty low. I had to cover my ears. But that was the time when they used A-4's.
