My wife just took my kids to see these guys a few weeks ago. I watched them practice the week leading up to the airshow. They did get pretty damn low.

I wonder what went wrong. Blue Angels aren’t exactly known for making mistakes.

true, they rarely do, but what they do is still extremely dangerous; that's why only damned good pilots get to be on the team. Question is "was it a mistake, or a malfunction?"

As I've said, the Blue Angles are just a waste of tax-payers' money.

I used to watch the Blue Angels all the time at the Charleston Air Force base. They never crashed and I know this sucks.

Except that they're an excellent recruiting tool and likely bring in large amounts of money at each show.

When and where have you said such things? And in either case, shortly after the death of a man that had dedicated his life to being an expert fighter pilot, stating that what he died doing is just a waste of tax-payers money is rather shallow.

May the brave Blue Angel rest in peace.

I guess that did sound ass-ish, even when not being serious. My apologies. I keep forgetting what website I'm posting on.
