VERY tough call I'll admit, but in the end I'm going with Bludgeon. Decepticon Samurai Tank is just too awesome.

Both are cool but I choose Devastator. Because he's he has a limited release du to being an exclusive and there are plenty of bludgeons. I'm sure you can still get him at the end of summer at regular price online.

I will draw on the expertise I've gained from owning neither one and say Bludgeon. He's on my "to purchase eventually" list while I'll be passing on mini Devs.

If you want Legi Devi at all you should get him first, Bludgeon bieng a regular retail release of a non-movie charecter will be easy to find for a while. I picked up one of the only 12 Devi's between both my local Walmarts neither of which has restocked.

Bludgeon is the one to grab.
i still haven't seen one in any stores.
besides being elusive, he is artistically/engineering epic.

dev will be around for awhile, bludgeon who knows, but i predict there will be a few repaints lol but devastator will probably get 12 repaints and what not. through out various lines, so there will be plenty of chances to buy it. it will be all over ebay forever.

    bludgeon might not.

Bludgeon. A robot zombie Samurai that transforms into a tank vs. a mini Devastator...This isn't even a fair poll.

Next poll: who is the better leader of the Autobots? G1 Optimus Prime, or G1 Rodimus Prime? :lol

    Bludgeon, FTMFW.

    Definitely Bludgeon. Reasons why?
    1: Hes a tank.
2: Hes a Skeleton with Japanese inspired armor plating.
    3: Hes got swords.
    4: The swords combine.
    5: Hes a tank.

I voted Bludgeon. Legends Devastator is okay looking, but I'd rather have a fully poseable Transformer that has two very solid looking modes than have 7 so-so Legends that combine into a combiner that's only good as a display piece, IMO.

Blugdeon has quality, Devastator only has exclusivity going for it.

    Bludgeon hands down.

He's a hybrid figure so he's going to fit in just about any sort of display you would want to do. Plus he's got those swords so he looks like he could do something cool while Devastator is more of glorified vacuum cleaner.

If I want tiny combiners then I'll just wait for Power Core later this year.

Rodimus, of course. Everybody knows that.

Honestly, OP, I'd grab both if you can find them. Devastator is incredibly fun to fiddle with. He's small, he's not terribly complex, and he's loads of fun. He's also a store exclusive and is not going to be around for a long time. Grab him while you still can.

Bludgeon, meanwhile, is an incredibly nice voyager. His alt mode is beautiful, he's got a cool transformation, and his robot mode is really badass. The soft plastic on his sword is pretty crap, but other than that he's pretty much flawless. He's also a real bitch to find. I can't speak about nationwide, but where I live I've only seen him once - the movie stuff hasn't been selling all that great and most stores around here have stagnated on one or two older waves (can't find a Lockdown anywhere, but I can easily get hold of a few dozen Tuner Mudflaps and enough Stalker Scorponoks to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool). Anywhere I go it's either a bunch of older Voyagers or a ton of Mindwipes and the latest overuse of voyager Optimus. Bludgeon and the latest overuse of Ironhide are nowhere to be found.

tl;dr version: both are awesome, both aren't going to be easy to find, grab them both while you can.
