No seriously, I just got a ROTF Blud from my local Target (for which he is the only one I found out of every store in 2 towns) so I bought him got him home and noticed his left ankle was assembled backwards! And if that wasn't the worst part his whole leg is assemble with pins (albeit ONE screw doesn't help much) and all those pins are one direction installs. So how am I supposed to get them out without wrecking the paint.

any suggestions would be appreciated, thanx.

I wouldn't know. I have this Legends Megatron with the pin incorrectly places in his leg, so I can't transform it. I tried to get it out, but nothing helped.

Maybe you can tick the pin out if you place another pin on the other side + give a little smash with a hammer? Maybe you can lob it right out, adjust the part and hit it back in..

i use one of those small, thin screwdrivers, and take a hammer or rubber mallet and hit the two together to get the pin out. some times even just push the scredriver against the pin will push it out enough so you can take a pair of pliars and pull the pin out.

you can use a soldering iron to heat the pin and remove it... but that sucks that yours was messed up... i'd say just wait til he shows up more and swap him...though he'll most likely end up back on the shelves anyway...

Wait for a new one and swap. After the first two-three weeks, you'll be sick of seeing them on the shelves.

    And it's grammar.

It's not sad, just ironic. It's an easy mistake to make.

Anyways, I would return him OR hold on to him until you see another. Buy the new one then take the bad one back with the new receipt and box.

Yeah, I think he has to be honest when he returns it that it's damaged. I'm just saying that if the store doesn't have a replacement one now, he can hold on to this one in the meantime. If the time allocated for return has passed once they do get replacements, then I would would buy another and return the older defective one. I don't think that's a bad thing to do if the store has no replacements at the moment.

don't have digi-camera to take a picture with, but just look at your Blud's ankle and picture it put on backwards, its not a huge problem but it does make his foot kinda wonky.

The pic is just a quick snapshot, so forgive the quality.

To tell just pose the foot as far back as possible, if the foot pin is BEHIND the leg pin then its correct, but if the foot pin sits right below the leg one then its backwards..

Beat me to it! i was picturing Fraiser in Cheers trying to explain to Woody how to swap figures without moral complications.

Since Bludgeon is quite rare here at the moment, he'd have a serious wait on his hands to replace the iffy one. Still, i prefer waiting over breaking out soldering guns and ball peen hammers.
    it's a transformer, not a Brinks/Broadview safe, lol.
