To those with the Blu-Ray with VR experience and Google Cardboard… what is it? I've not been able to find literally any information about it. How do you get it on your phones?
It comes with a card that has a verification code you have to enter to download it. @normtrooper Cheap DIY cardboard googles. You download an app, 508mb. On my Samsung Galaxy S5 it was pretty much unwatchable. It was blurry and unresponsive. If you don't want it on 4K blu ray than skip it. Luckily it appears to be the same price with or with out the VR gimmick.
I actually helped a bit with the Cardboard spec, lol. So, they DRMed it, not surprised. Hopefully it'll pop up on… other sources soon. Or, if someone would be kind enough to forgo their code who doesn't want/can't play it, I'd probably be able to rip it.
Just download the app. TF5 360 - Android Apps on Google Play It asked me for literally nothing, from what I can see it works totally fine. Someone needs to rip the .OBB quick. EDIT: I've just done it. I was able to find the video files pretty quick and they play fine. They're just 360, not 3D, kinda disappointing. If people want I can upload somewhere.
Yes, as I feared, it's not even exclusive content. Literally all of it was posted on their social media prior to the film's release. Guess it makes sense the VR edition doesn't cost more.
