someone may have already asked this but when the movie comes out on the 30th in blu-ray, will it have all the "2 disc special edition bonus features"?

There won't be any special features included in the Sept. 30th release. It is only the film.

    Nope.

    I am sure.

Press release is here, they mentioned it.

Press Release - Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Home Release - Transformers News - TFW2005

so if you want special features, wait till the end of the year. The 3D version will get release by that time too.

that's stupid why release just the movie on blu ray, then release ANOTHER blu ray later but with all the good stuff why not just release everything at the same time. Fuckin lame

Before you say it's stupid, remember that they have to MAKE the special features.

Bay has already said that he wants to take time to perfect the 3D bluray edition so that it looks as good as it did in the theater, because unlike most directors he doesn't want to do it half-assed. So they're releasing this version so that people who don't want to wait for them to perfect the 3D can buy something earlier.

I for one am happy that we're getting something so early. Once the better version comes out I will regift or sell this version and probably get a box set of all 3 films.

I can understand what you said about transferring the 3D to BluRay disc. However, I don't agree with what you said about the special features. I'm pretty sure that they could start making the special features for the discs as soon as the film hits theaters. Also, most of it is just footage that was recorded during shooting; so, it's all ready made.

As far as I can tell the only difference is the cover and the fact that it's just the blu-ray by itself instead of the blu-ray/dvd combo.
