I know there is a thread for what DVDs are up and comming. But I have a slightly differnt question. I have both a PS3 and xBox 360 ( with HD drive). And I would like to pick up 300 in high def.

My question which format should I get?

Scray as it might sound I have an old beta max deck. But I do not think 300 is being released for it.

go with the DVD 2-Disc Special Edition from Best Buy...you get a Spartan Helmet replica...for $35

the HD DVD also has the DVD version...but the only downside is that it's $35...while the Blu-Ray is $30....and there aint one with just the HD DVD on it, its the combo.

or get the DVD version, it's $13...

As for cost target has the blu ray and HD for under $30. So the cost differnce is a mute point.

I have made my dessicion and I will be getting it on HD DVD, the reviews really helped thanks

Conditioner is better! It makes the hair Silky and smooth.

Anyways, I would get the HDDVD version only for the extra content.

No choice, I have a Ps3, the choice was made for me, and I'm not really sad about it.

i'm thinking of picking the HD DVD version i dont have a HiDef DVD Player and it's a combo disc...

and seeing that i plan on picking up the HD DVD (XBox 360) Add-on when it goes down in price (sometime this month) for my PC...

but in October, i'll be getting a PS3....but i dont plan on using that as a player (my video game consoles are used only as video game consoles)

    no UMD version...what gives :rolleyes2

Yeah, that does suck. With the new AVC compressors available though, you can always convert it, and it will look just as good as UMD.
