I know there is an option to turn avatars off, but I'd like to know if it's possible to implement something so that I can turn off avatars for specific people? There are some who use avatars that I find highly annoying but aren't breaking any rules, so I'd like to remove them without having to turn all avatars off.

Sorry, it's an all or nothing kind of thing. However, if you have Firefox, you can get use Adblock to right click and block specific images.

Okay, it worked for a while, but now ALL avatars are blocked sans the little box for them (which is now a flat rectangle), and there doesn't appear to be any way for me to undo this for some reason. And I tried disabling avatars and then re-enabling them and that didn't work either.

It sounds like you blocked the domain instead of just the specific image. Here's how to fix this. You can disable Ad Block on TFW2005, or you can do this:

    - Click on the ABP button on your toolbar
    - Click on "Filter Preferences" - This will bring up a new window
    - Click on the "Custom Filters" tab
    - Click on "Ad Blocking Rules"
    - Find "http://cdn.tfw2005.com/boards/customavatars/" and either uncheck "Enable" or you can right click and "Delete" the domain.

Restart your browser and you should be back to normal.

Awesome, that seems to have fixed everything! Although now I'm back to square 1   Aw, well, I guess I'll just have to live with those odd avatars I guess.
