    Hello all
well I was lookin round tryin to figure out a better but do able (for me anyway lol)
Blitzwing and the closest I found was one that was done Orignaly by Solrac333
I liked it but it looked like it could be improved some on lil things
and while I was at it I wanted to make it more like the G1 type

so basicly I did the same as he has already done but didnt have a spare universe blater for the arms so I kept the Original ones

and with a bit of cutin, drillin and some slight use of epoxy and super glue
I not only made his tank treads more flush but also gave him a Gun that can be stored on/in tank/jet mode(s)
makin him look more like the G1 reg 1 Barreled tank but still kept the Idea of using the Boosters as a Option for him in all modes
thus a Blitzwing or like I prefer to code name it Hyper Blitzwing

the only prob I had was the head

but after playin with it I decided to leave it as youll see below
its detachable from a balljoint part that is used at the "neck" and can be stored in the chest like normal during the Tank mode so no more
"Head shot from behind Flanks" lol

now all thats left is to get the proper paints later and finish his looks
    ^^

I give mostly thanks to Solrac333 for his version of it and thanks to all here on Radicons and hope to become a better Radicon in time

How dare you take my idea and make it better. :)

When I made the 2nd one, I wanted to go with the Treadbolt arms but the client wanted Blaster arms. VERY nice on the tank treads! Very nice.

Sand the areas that rub. Like the wing joints, shoulders, the sides of the cockpit and the thighs. Those parts chipped the paint.

Ah! Beat me to it. I saw Sorlacs and immediately started assembling the pieces I would need. I'd love to know how you managed to make the treads more flush. Please share? :D

Wait a second! Looks like you added some height by keeping the black parts in the knees. That would probably give you more clearance with the treads.

yep yep you got it right Rather then Breaking the black boxes on treadbold I kept them and just superglued on and around (many times for a secure fit)
the boxes torwards the Back of the legs with that I only need to bend th eknees/legs like you were already doin and the treads become flush and can "attach" towards the cockpit/chest

I may try to get some small Earth Magnets that I can attach to the inside of the nose cone and inside the treads so that it will almost Tap into place more securely

I hope from the pics I have you can see what I mean
but yes my Blitz is a lil Taller at the knees but not enough to effect his looks XP

Cool. But only glue to hold them together?

I cut the black parts off because the inside tab fits in the holes in the Dropshot legs.

yea I wondered that myself at one point
how well super glue would hold up but amazinly it did
I think its because the legs them selves dont have much to em bein pretty light

+ some exsiting grooves as it were thats already in the plastic with the glue and multiple apps of the glue all around the black boxes made a very strong hold on it

now if the legs had more Weight to them and were heavy then yea id want to do something more but there not so its holdin very well ^^

Lovely, worth experimenting with a bigger gun before painting?

very nice, and love the fact you got the tank treads to sit flush.

Any engineering tips for those of us who may be trying to make our own? ;-)

lol well the biggest tip I can think of at the moment ^^
is if you do something like I did with the Gun.

your gonna be drillin and makin it hollow at the end but keep it ever so slightly deep in the center for the end of the tail fin part as you see to go into .then to make up for all of the chunks missin after I took a small bit of epoxy and thinly applied it on top and then put the gun on as shown like normal, this created a very thin track in the mold on the inside as it if was made for it ^^
but its a slow process for me drill, cut test to see it fitting rinse and repeat...

otherwise its just a matter of keepin the black boxes on the Treadbolt legs
even tho you can break them off and they then fit in Dropshots legs like normal fit
keep them and instead get them flush with the top (in tank mode) / back of the legs (in bot mode) and you get as you see

again its really just some lil things I wanted to see would work on Solrac333 idea
I want to make sure that Credit gets to where Credits do
I just wanted to see if I could make it a lil more G1 ish and see if I could take a wack at fixin some of the probs he said from his youtube review of his custom

I am wanting to try and do another project of something if anyones interested in some thoughts

id like to try and make a Transfomrers Universe/classics version of Transformers Animated Megatron what with the Attack copter look Twin propellers?
so if anyone would like to suggest something to start with or could be tweaked Please
    tell ^^ thank you
