Blackout - tutorial added on page 3 Im interested to know what you think of these changes on Blackout. fixes: 1 tail rotor fits on Left arm, ( although it should have been right one ..doh!) 2 helicopter tail fits on his back. 3 scorponock's cage fits into Blackouts Back 4 shoulderpieces are lowered so his head is now visible from all sides. (makes him a lot more movie accurate, I think) 5. new shin pads (these add extra weight so he can stand up without the tail to support him) these alterations did not change or interfear with the transformation . posabillity improved because he is more stable. .. the shoulder tweak also diverts the weight more to the middle of the toy . any thoughts? ------------------------------------------------------------ scorponok pics you can see here
I love the mods you did, especially lowering the shoulders. It does make him look more movie accurate. This is the best repaint of Blackout I've ever seen. My only suggestion is to add more guns!
thx I wanted a gun on his right arm but it dind't work in helicoptermode. that's why it isn't there. As that character was just in the movie to get killed I think I'll pass. at least blackout killed off an intire army base! thx for the great remarks
Damn fine work! Blackout is easily my favorite Bay-former. You just made me feel crappy about my recent Blackout repaint. These mods are really great, I'd love to know how you lowered the shoulder pieces.
That looks great man, you should try your hand at a follow along for the mods you've done so others can attemp them.
Now the looks soooo much better! folding the tail and adding the propeller as a weapon like in the movie, game! mannn how did you do the mod for the tail? also what did you use for the propeller weapon?
