I don't know if this has been mentioned, but if you look at the chart comparing sizes for Animated character models, you can see Blackout has a more earth-looking alt mode with proper helicopter blades and the Decepticon symbol on his arm. Which is different to then one we saw in the cartoon.

In G1, it was the planet the 'Cons made a base on after the Autobots retook Cybertron. It's probably just an homage.

its reference to the planet the cons started living on in season 3 of G1 after getting kicked off Cybertron. As in charcoal or scorched earth.

I remember noticing that when we first got the pictures. It could very well be him after visiting Earth and scanning a new alt-mode for a disguise, but it could also be just an earlier version of him. Either way I'm glad he's getting a Voyager class figure. Would be cool to see another helicopter in the toy line, but his Cybertronian alt-mode would be pretty cool too. It all depends on what happens in the show. If he does get a new alt-mode, I can definitely see the toy being based off of that version of him. Seeing that diagram again makes me wish we were getting a Leader or Supreme Blackout, but a Voyager figure is better than no figure, imo. A Voyager Spittor would be awesome too, but I'd be happy enough with a Deluxe. If it is his eventual Earth-mode, it means team Charr is going to visit Earth. Which makes sense, as it'll be the easiest way for us to get a scene with both Lugnut and Strika in it. Sort of a little reunion for them.

I think the utter failure of Rollout Prime nerfed the possibility of other Supreme Class TFA toys.

Eh, good point, though I still wouldn't be surprised if they eventually gave us a Supreme class Omega Supreme figure. If only they actually made a figure/character that is deserving of the Supreme size class, instead of Optimus Prime. Who could have been a much better figure, imo, if they utilized the size better, and didn't ruin him with so many gimmicks.

100% agree. Rollout Prime is just complete fail. The trouble is a toy buyers logic would probably dictate if you can`t sell Prime in a supreme class, you can`t sell anything!

Altough I don't like his Cybertron alt mode AT ALL, and I wish as a toy he gets the earth helicopter alt mode, like Soundwave said, his sketch says ROUGH. There is a big chance he will never get to earth in the series.

but after having the movie toy of Blackout I'd rather have the cybertronian mode from animated. It would be intresting to see it in toy form.

I thought it was odd that he was the one character introduced during the initial fight that displayed a non-combat power (that didn't do much). It did feel like they were setting him up for later.

I think they made his appearance epic for a reason. When he showed up, it went silent, then BOOOOM!:ev:
