I took one Classics Skywarp, Ramjet, and Acid Storm and made these three seekers. I took off a lot of paint and only added a bit of black to the tip of the Black jet, everything else is just swapped parts

The Green and Purple seeker is just leftover parts :)

I'll upload more later but the site is being wierd

With those reprolabel wing sets, you'll have a nice looking little group of Generic Dudes.

Sure thing, if photobucket uploads them this time around that is

Well I think I may mod them a bit and make them into Aerialbots. Also the green one is just leftover parts, not sure what to do with him

    Thanks bro

If you have a pin-popping tool it's pretty easy. Only took a few hours including all the paint removal. Only thing that took forever and still didn't work very well was Acid Storm's paint on his wings. I let it soak over night and it still took a bit of scrubbing to get that camo off

I need to get pin-popping going. Honestly I want it more for Cybertron Ransack though. What pin-popping method did you use? I just can't seem to get them to budge much (not for seekers specifically, haven't tried).

Nice! I love random generic Seekers. Those Ramjet parts make for a surprisingly spot-on Black Starscream, great idea!

In jet mode Starscream gives off a real "Air Raid" vibe. :)

The black and white conehead is a really nice mix, too. Nice and monochromatic.

So I have to ask you a question. I notice you stripped the paint off Acid Storm's head, among other pieces. How hard was it to strip? Did you just use an alcohol bath to do it? Any other tips? I have a project I want to do soon that involves stripping the paint off a Seeker's helmet and inside their feet, and as some paint is hard to strip from nooks and crannies, I'm wondering how much of a pain it will be. Thanks!

Pretty nice look for no painting at all. I don't really think the white limbs are appropriate for a proper black starscream, though, as he is only grey, black, and gold for his primary colors...

Nice I like Classics Seeker repaints. I need to get good pics of mine to post up. Since you are not finished with the Acidstorm parts I am intrested in what you do with him.

There's probably a tutorial in that section of radicons. I just try to hammer it out using a few clamps. The thing is if you hammer from the 'wrong' side of the pin it'll take forever cuz one side has a gripped end. The best way to do it is to figure out which end is gripped and hit from the other side. Check the tutorials, I'm not much help

Thanks but there really is only black gundam ink on the tip of the black jet, so not really repaints. I'll post something when I decide what to do with the green guy

Yeah I just called him that cuz that's what he looked like to me when he was done. I actually did it mainly for an Air Raid vibe. I wanna do all the aerialbots eventually

Thanks. I just posted more after photobucket started working for me again

    Thanks!

Yeah it was an alcohol bath. The black and yellow come off of Acid Storm really easily with a toothbrush. I still haven't gotten all the camo off. I soaked it over night and got impatient so I scrubbed it with a brillow pad. I need to soak it again. You get the best results with time

I kind of like it too. I may just throw a little paint on it and call it good :thumb
