I really wish that bay and company would use black lab's transformers song for the theme of ROTF. that song is the shit and would really get the crowd on their feet (not literally but ya know what i mean)

who's with me and who's against me on this one.

I'm sure it's been said before, but I totally agree with you on this one. I love Black Lab's version.

Dude, thank you. This is what I've been thinking since TF1 came out.
True, I enjoy Mutemaths' and Lions' versions, in some ways I prefer this one to the others because it doesnt try to be whatever style is popular at the time, the band just goes at it their way.

Perhaps a trailer or intro song? I'd hate to only hear it during the end credits, which I suppose is better than nothing.

So, I'm all for it! :thumb

Although it's pretty rockin', I think people are giving them too much credit. They practically took the original song and stripped it of it's awesome solo part.

I don't think it ever was meant to be more, just those guys having good fun, as it should be, but I'm pretty sure they, or another band, could do a more original, kickass song.

You may or may not like the Mute Math Transformers theme (not the horrible Linkin Park TF theme that incorrectly leaked as Mute Math's), it's not that hard-rocking, but it's more original.

Short answer: no, I don't think so.

YES, I think this version will go well with the new movie, but my favorite still stands with Lion's version. I think Lion's version is too old for a new movie, but I'm a fan of the 80s sound of all rock. Black Lab's version Would go over well with today's listeners, but it isn't a first choice of mine, I still like it though. I wish that they don't put Mutemath's version in - they ruined the Transformers theme in it's entirety. BOOO Mutemath!!!!

That is such a gay version of a sweet tune :D

It's alright if you're 13 and you like all that stompy-mallcore-whiney-wigga-metal bullshit...Which the majority of the population DON'T :p  :thumbdown

They need a score. simple as that.

If not they need this tune Transformers Classic Theme Orchestral

If if they want a rocking-out tune they need this Hospital of Death "The Transformers Theme"

We definately don't need any more of that sulky-middle-class-kid-rap-metal garbage attached to Transformers :puke:

I'm confused as to which version you're referring to. Linkin Park?

I was talking about black lab but I could have been talking about linkin park or mutemath...it's all music for "misunderstood" baggy-trousered 12 year olds :p

    Black Lab, superior. Mutemath, inferior.

I'm not much of a fan of either band (though Mute Math have some decent stuff), but neither sound anything like the mallcore/rap-metal you're describing, especially not Mute Math

Look Putrecon, I hate teen's music just as much as you do, but that Hospital of Something version isn't any good either!

IMO, if they ever use the original theme, it should be just instrumental orchestra.

You mean like the one I suggested first a couple of pages back? :dunce

As for H.O.D. I really don't expect everyone to like them, just trying to spread the word on a fun track made by a good bunch of guys who happen to be Transformers nerds :rock
