I'd go THS-02B. The Hybrid style figures are very nice (albeit surprisingly small). I have both Prime and Nemesis Prime.

i have the THS reg g1 convoy and the galaxy force THS. both are really nice and detailed. they're about twice the size of WST primes to give you an idea.

    Imagine a mini masterpiece.

I'll be getting a black convoy/ scourge myself soon. i haven't played with that mold but a lot of people love it and it's suppose to be one of the best molds that came out. i believe it's an 80's mold correct, anyone?

....okay so i had to some quick research on seibertron dot com. i didn't know scourge was the japanese name for black convoy. that makes it a little clearer (on my own terms)

So ultimately, it's probably going to be based on price and i space i guess. THS convoy can fit in your hand, while scourge will need space for display. not to mention the tank becomes a base with 'missile' launchers.

Out of curiousity, what's the difference between the Hasbro RiD Scourge/Nemesis Prime and the Takara RiD Scourge/Nemesis Prime?

Thanks for the advice all. I decided to pick up both. I also pro-ordered the E-Hobby G1 Black Megatron to match the 2 figures.

    I bought them from ToyArena.

To me the main difference are the symbols. The Hasbro version have the classic Decepticon sybol, while the Takara version have an upside down Autobot symbol.

The clear plastic on Black Convoy (windows, sword, eyes, etc.) is pink while the plastic on Scourge is red.

The sword on Black Convoy is pointier than Scourge's.

The stickers on Black Convoy are chrome with upside down G2 Autobot symbols while the ones on Scourge are gray with Decepticon symbols

The disks that shoot out from the trailer's weapon have a G2 Autobot symbol molded on them on Black Convoy while the disks on Scourge are either blank or have Decepticon symbols molded on.....I don't remember.

    I think that's it....

basically from what i can tell is, the battle black convoy tends to be at least $20's cheaper then the RID scourge *probably because RID scourge was an exclusive while black convoy was not* lol

now between the two, i'd say, pick the smaller black prime because he seems to be much rarer, and even bbts who used to have him on clearance now is selling him for like $120 *which is at least $60's more then that mold is worth in my opinion! lol so yea, you will have plenty of chances to get RID or Car robots Scourge. but may not be as many chances to get the other. so i say pick the other.

Cool, thanks. I was taking a look at the RiD one and I've come to like it (I still like THS-02B more), so I think I'll go with the Hasbro one if I pick it up.

Great choice. But really, between all three, they're all great pickups.

Agreed, I have both and they're both worth every penny.

But of the two, i'd pick the THS-O2B, even with the size difference he's full of win. Along with the trailer, rollar and all the awsome accesories, you get an extreamly detailed and articulated prime.
