I like this in general, but it does seem like the placement of yellow in robot mode is a bit random and not all that styling.

I imagine that it will be mostly molded in black, rather than painted... but on the other hand... I suppose it depends on what the breadown of parts is between the runners. Still, going with all black, painted with yellow seems like a much better approach.

just wondering, how easy is removing BB's head?

Im sure lots of people will want to do this, but i can see lots of BB's getting wrecked...is it just a pop off or a single screw? or what?

Looks good definity buy on color scheme and head sculpt. Though that should have always been there. They should have worked it in to the orignal mode some how maybe a cover like the one around Beast Wars orignal Dinobot where there was that skull like shell around his robot head in beast mode.

i'm pretty sure that's a painted mockup from a yellow concept bee. i expect to see less yellow on the final version.

Head-swap for me too. I might detail him with siver, gunmetal, and gold highlights over the ghastly yellow in 'bot mode.

It's a ball joint. Pops right off and back on very easily.

 

I suspect it may actually be that BB's helmet was like OP's sword -- Hasbro didn't know about it until Marchish.
