    Because in a lot of cases their age is on a sliding scale to keep them a certain age and the story in the "present", so when they were born effectively keeps "changing". Also the fact that time in the comic book world is treated differently as in the real world.

    Comic characters don't age, they just get retconned and rebooted.

    I mean, Dick Grayson grew too big for his pixyboots but Bruce will always be 30ish (not counting elseworlds and other timelines).
