Got a great idea in making the Seekers from the Ransack mold. So, I started with Starscream. It took me about two days to do this. I think he turned out great, and I'm really proud of it!

I used Testor's Acrylic and Enamel paints with this project. Everything was hand painted. I took inspiration from the Classics and Cybertron Starscream paint scheme's to make this. Hope you guys like it. Enjoy! :)

I'm also working on something very similar! Love the Decepiticon symbols on the wings. :thumb

If you could get a classics style head on this it'd be perfect!

Looks good. Maybe some clearer pics to show off the detail.

The 'Con emblems are actually the ones that are already on the Ransack mold. I just painted around them. :D

As for the blurry pics, sorry. This camera is all I have for now. =/

And as for the Classics-style head, I thought very hard about how I was going to portray SS using this head, and swapping heads was too difficult, so I just painted the top and sides of his head black to represent the Seeker head.

I think the propeller would look better in black as while I get you want it to represent Starscream as much as possible with the colours, breaking it up a little makes the blue on the arms pop that much more.

    Great work though :thumb

    Nice work!

I've got exactly the same thing going on in my WIP bin for a little Hearts of Steel side project. They've been in there since last Xmas and it's taking me a while as I'm trying to reconfigure the arms, which I've always hated on this mold.

I've got a few HoS style heads that you might be interested in, but they do require some careful cockpit trimming to fit (and the removal of the entire radiator so it's propellors forward only for my boys).

Do you have any rub issues with the uprights at all?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. :D  I'm going to start painting Thundercracker very soon. Hopefully I'll get him done by the end of tonight.

Jimstertron, by uprights, do you mean the bars between the wings? I haven't noticed anything yet, but I'll keep an eye out.
