Oops, issue #2, not vol #2

There's this panel where Brad just woke up, the doctor told him:
"Okay... when checking Brad's blood for infections,
I noticed a low-level radiation signature within his cell walls."

    Plants, bacteria have cellwalls.
Humans, animals, insects, moving Earth creatures don't... we have cell membrane.
Having cellwalls or cell membranes suggest very different cell structures.

Maybe this is a hidden plot that would reveal later in other crossover storylines?
that the people from the M.A.S.K. universe are actually evoled from plants! LOL

As a biology teacher, responses #4 and #6 hurt my heart.

Just goes to show you we all have different priorities...but I oughtn't let any of you out of high school if you can't remember that, or at least fake it for a few weeks :D

I am not a biology teacher. I haven't read MASK since the crossover. I found the bits of MASK least interesting part of the Crossover. I going have to agree the Lack of Biology in cellular structures is one of many problems that this comic book has. Or IDW could said that the biological error is due to Thundercracker writing it since he does not know difference between Cell Membranes and Cell Walls.

So Physics can be violated 8 times a page, but BY GUM they had better get the Biology right!

    Source: Physics degree :p

    Damn right - screw physics!

They're right though people do not have cell walls - only plants and bacteria have cell walls. Though thst is secondary/high school stuff.
    I have a biology degree so ;)

But physics are hard and boring

More to the point, you can't have a space opera without lighting a physics textbook on fire, but sticking cell walls in humans is just *careless.* ;)

A problem that is a problem only to biology teachers and students. Could be avoided if the author used google, but honestly... Who cares?

Other than showing general level of craftsmanship with the book it changes little. And that the book was not good, well... Was obvious even without it.

    P.s.:

physics are cooler than biology just like guns are cooler than tissue.

Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight.
I alway wanted the physics faculty to take on the biology faculty.

IDK I live in a country where you can trip and fall and accidentally buy a gun before you hit the ground, yet people get so antsy over the thought of combining the propagation genes of influenza with the virulence of Ebola...

Deliberately suspending physics for the sake of fantasy isn't the same as a technical error.

They probably just messed up and meant to say membrane anyway.

You're right, comic book discussions are no place to joke about physics. Won't happen again.

On the other hand... I can be losing my s*** every single time when Hollywood dresses their Romans in segmentatas before the battle of Teutoburg forest, so...

... everyone got their own pet peeves.
