    Height
    6' 11½" (2.12 m)

    Trade mark
Is often cast in animated production as the "voice" of various animal characters.

Voice of Fred "Freddy" Jones of Scooby-Doo's Mystery Inc.

    Trivia
Referred to in Hollywood as a "voice god".

Has shared two roles with Leonard Nimoy. When the third season of "Transformers" (1984) came around, Frank took the role of Galvatron that Leonard Nimoy had taken in The Transformers: The Movie (1986). And in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), Frank provided the 'screams' of Leonard Nimoy's most famous character, Mr Spock.

Provided the voice for 8 of the original 14 Decepticons in the "Transformers" (1984) cartoon: Megatron, Soundwave, Skywarp, Lazerbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, and Buzzsaw. He voiced two of the original Autobots as well: Trailbreaker and Mirage, as well as one of the Dinobots (Sludge) that also appeared in the first season.

He has done every voicing of Freddy "Fred" Jones for the Scooby-Doo series with the sole exception of "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" (1988). Even in parodies and cameos on different TV shows, he has always done his voice.

Has done voices for both the original Star Trek film series and the television series "Star Trek: Voyager" (1995).

He also did the animal voice effects including "Dumbo" in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).

In "Tiny Toon Adventures" (1990), he voiced Furrball, Gogo Dodo, Calamity Coyote, Little Beeper, Byron Basset, Uncle Stinky Pig, Henry Bear and Ralph the Guard, who later appeared in "Animaniacs" (1993), where Frank not only voiced Ralph, but also voiced Thaddeus Plotz, Buttons, Runt, Flavio Hippo and Chicken Boo

He should be on Inside the Actor's Studio or something (hey, they had the entire cast of the Simpsons one time). He should at least have his own Biography episode. Heck even Herman Munster got his own Biography episode. I wonder if Mark Hamill has his own Biography episode?

While we are at it why not suggest the entire remaining gen.1 cast? Or just Welker and Cullen to help promote the film? I'm sure deep down in their hearts, Speilberg and/or (Tom)Hanks could work their magic to make something like that happen.

-But the idea of Welker alone is just perfectly fine as well.

I don't think most voice actors out there, even at Welker's status, get taken seriously enough for that sort of thing. It's unfortunate but very true.

Hmm, Cullen at 6'9 doesn't seem right, I seem to recall photos where other guys were notably taller than him.

The dude's insane, is all I can say.

Practically any "animal" actor in an animated setting is Frank Welker. Ravage, Lazerbeak, Buzzsaw in G1, the horse in Mulan, the falcon in Quest for Camelot, etc.

The height has got to be wrong. I'm sure that there are people on here who have met both him and Cullen to confirm their true heights.

Peter Cullen is a very short man, I know because I'm 5'8 and he was shorter than me when I saw him at Botcon, I'd say 5'4 is accurate.
