Hey not sure if this was mentioned prior but are the Binaltech transformers affected in that Led paint recall caused by China. All Binaltechs were manufactured over in china so im assuming they probably are painted with the same led paint.

thanks in advance for the info.

Not every bottle of paint in China has lead in it. Not to mention, why are you sucking on your BT's anyway?

Binaltech predates all of this current lead paint shenanigans. Almost silly how paranoid some people (not necessarily you, vekt) are getting with this recall stuff. It's to be expected from the companies, so they maintain a positive image, but people worrying about years-old products now?

I switched to pens.. i found out there was lead in my pencil.

    :)

They worry more about children when it comes to lead in the paints.. exactly for the reason prisoner pointed out.. kids put things in their mouths..

The "lead" in pencils is a form of carbon known as graphite.

    They contain no lead.

Hmm...it may be reason for concern. Would anyone wish to take a low-cost Binaltech and apply a home lead testing kit to it?

I think even IF your BTs DID contain lead paint, you wouldn't have to worry unless you were LICKING them...
