I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, so feel free to move this as you see fit. But I've got an aching question:

Is Bill's Toys and Games still active? I have been trying to contact Bill since April, but to date, I have not received any e-mails from him. Are others similarly getting this?

sadly, he is still in business.

not getting a response from bill is standard procedure, especially if you're asking about an item you ordered but never recieved.

If he sold excuses he’d be a millionaire. I suggest you make a habit of e-mailing him every day and if you can get a hold of his AIM handle. The only way I got my last order from him was after constant pestering for 2 months.

Notice the ads are no longer here...too many complaints, too many excuses. Bill is a great guy as a person...terrible as a retailer. Apparently his Post office loses 85% of the total amount of lost packages in the United states, & his computer/paypal account ALWAYS has a new glitch or problem that prevents correspondence or shipping of product ( funny his account never has a problem TAKING funds, just a problem w/Refunds)

He's got great stuff, If he were in ANY way even 80% reliable I'd have stayed a customer...but I don't see anything but aggravation on his feedback board:

I believe Jux won a Predaking from him here from a contest back when the predaking reissue had just come out, and last I knew, he still hadnt recieved it.

As I told him, if that post office is so horrible then he needs to start shipping with UPS, FedEx, DHL, drive to a different town and use there post office or what ever it takes.
    Funny how that works.
Fist time I ordered from him I asked for express shipping and he e-mailed me asking why, almost like he was trying to talk me out of it. I explained some issues I had in the past and wanted to ship in a way that gave me a tracking number. The next time (a month or two later) I wasn’t as concerned about it and as the weeks became months he started feeding me all the things I complained about from the past as excuses for this time.

and what's up with his shipping? i've been wanting to order from him, the same amount of stuff i've ordered *some times the same stuff too* from bbts, but it always ends up at close to $100 just for ground post office shipping. when i can order the same exact items at bbts, for $20 shipping at post office shipping... i'm so confused, where is that extra money going too?

If you ordered from him, then I'm sorry for the money you have lost.

If you have not ordered from him, I suggest you just run away. Fast.

They gave away two Predakings in that contest, I was the other winner. I got it but only because I was moving at the time and hounded Bill because I was worried it got shipped to my old address and not the new one. Not sure exactly why he went ahead and shipped mine when he wouldn't Jux's, but he did.

Fantastic. I've got orders totalling $300 with him. What, he just gets away with this? What have you guys done in the past to successfully get your stuff or refunds?

well if you ordered it by credit card, you can disput it with your credit company, or attempt to cancel your order through him. i guess.

Bill's Toy and Games blows... I sent a weekly email to that site for three months over an order I placed and paid for... and still haven't received. I'm glad it was only 20 bucks.

After over 2-3 months of excuses, delays & promises I had my credit card company cancel the charge. I had to do this after my complaint through Paypal was past the statute of limitations. My CC company still returned my charges because of my clean credit history. If you have outstanding orders that haven't been filled, make sure you check on how long you have to make a dispute...it might be 60 days, 90 days or more...just check it out

Like said, Bill is a nice guy in person, but absolutely horrid online. I had terrible problems whenever I ordered from him. Wrong shipment or NO shipment :(

No responses, no refund. I disputed with my CC company and eventually got my acct refunded, but it was a hassle.

that was 3 years ago, I never ordered again.

    Run like it's the Plague!

I hope we're not still advertising on the site for this guy. He has the worst online store horror stories I've ever heard.

The guy has the balls to say his local post office looses most of the packages he sends out. Yeah, right.

when he does say that, does he offer a refund, or anything at all? or does he just take your money?
