This installment was a bit over the top. At one point my speakers were shaking from "look at this toy ..Its Stupid! what are you goint to do..."

I do like all of those toys by the way man. Just my opinion.

Aside from Sideswipe every one of those toys is utter crap.

 

Not true, Breakaway and Sideways are cool. I'm waiting until the third Arcee twin is released to see of any true combo-mode exists before passing judgment. Wheelie I couldn't care less about, it's a shit-looking figure, and I'm not buying another Bumblebee, so...

 

Both of those are decent after some modding is done.(Breakaway has really grown on me this last month or so)

Sideways was poorly designed with bad feet and breakaway has no neck.

For a kid both of them are a tough sell.

If you miss HA Bumblebee you will be sorry(the best BB so far)

 

Hmm... I'm still not sure what's worse: these over-the-top Movie bashers who hate it because of their inability & unwillingness to see beyond G1, or the equally over-the-top Movie fanboys who will go to ridiculous lengths to justify everything about the Movie designs & choices while also giving a kneejerk shot at G1 while attempting to make their points. All the same, as far as I'm concerned, any of them who take their tirades/rants/diatribes to YouTube are pathetically sad social write-offs no matter which side they're on... as are the people who subscribe to that nonsense.

That said, in defense of certain Movie bashers aka crticis (ie: the ones who legitimately didn't like either film based on well articulated reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with G1 this or that), 9.9 times out of 10 it's the Movie fanboys that like to do the finger pointing, resort to name calling ala "haters!", incite arguements, and quite often bring up the whole "this isn't G1!" retort out of thin air even when a detractor never even eluded to it let alone ever mentioned it. There seems to be an unnerving free pass that lets the supporters call the criticizers things like trolls, haters, geewhunners, etc. even when unprovoked... which is terribly unfortunate. Some bashers deserve it, no question, but there's a lot that don't - specficially the ones that don't base their criticisms on G1, Michael Bay "raping" anything, and who offer a legitimate platform of reasoning for their opinion.

If anyone complains about a single movie design, I'm sick of every fan who is convinced Michael Bay shits solid gold and that the movie is a flawless masterwork jumping on them. I'm tired of this "Not every character with the same name has to be the same character!" argument either, because if Starscream was a purple dumptruck, I think you'd have some unhappy fans....so people need to stop complaining when someone wishes Sideswipe looked like Sideswipe.

But no, I think movie fandom is deluded enough at this point that they would accept purple dumptruck Starscream with open arms, and accuse us of being haters to disagree.
