    I could dig that. Plus, if I don't like it, both the extended and the original will be on the disc.

    Indeed. Blu-Ray only releases at this point in time are just a bad idea. We've got several years, at the least, before DVD goes the way of VHS.

    awesome movie- nice little stand alone genre movie (like The Fog was a campfire tale).
    i'm not on the Blu-Ray wagon yet, so i am sad to miss this option.

    It might not even be worth doing another SD release at this point. Its hardley a big mainstream seller and it already has a disc in circulation, plus doing so could just end up canabalizing long term sales of the BD.

    Theres no harm in waiting anyway, BD is here to stay and I expect that player prices will be dropping like a stone this time next year.
