I bought the special edition of this movie years ago, and I still own it, but I haven't seen it. My dad passed away in '04 and I bought this movie knowing about the topic, but not wanting to watch it just yet, but now might be a good time.

I totally forgot about this movie. I have always meant to see what the buzz is about it but never got around to it. It looks like a really weird movie but interesting.

i had wanted to avoid this movie, thinking it was one of those "tried too hard to be quirky" flicks.
saw it accidentally on USA network and i liked it. a real surprise to me.
    it's better than you'd expect

I enjoyed it. It wasn't what I expected. I like that about movies.

I thought it was a great movie. I really wanted my mother to see it because it was so quirky and good but we'd lost my father to Cancer about six months before and I knew seeing it would probably upset her a lot. She did however see it last year and thought it was a very good film.

I remember seeing it in the theaiters and being very 'affected' by it. There are a hand full of movies that I watch that stick with me for a few days later...American Beauty, The Dark Knight and American History X are a few examples of these...

Oh man! I recall watching this film when it was released and I enjoyed it...it was both quirky and touching at the same time!
