    Beware sellingitall4u AKA transformsu / bnm963 - KO scams

Just saw these two auctions - both of which are KOs - that look strangely similar, plus the sellers are conveniently less than 10 miles from each other.

Transformers G1 Vintage REFLECTOR 100% COMPLETE - eBay (item 120500208022 end time Dec-07-09 14:42:47 PST)

Transformers Original G1 REFLECTOR Mint 100% Complete - eBay (item 170412503141 end time Dec-03-09 23:30:10 PST)

and looking through their other auctions they're passing off loose Shockwaves as legit figures:
Transformers G1 Decepticon SHOCKWAVE 100% Complete - eBay (item 120499126269 end time Dec-03-09 10:14:05 PST)

    Transformers G1 SHOCKWAVE 100% COMPLETE w/ MANUAL - eBay (item 170411188461 end time Nov-26-09 20:29:49 PST)

Suffice it to say, AVOID THESE SCAMMERS

It extra sucks too since even without the KO sales, they seem to be decent sellers ( I actually suspect it's the same guy with 2 accounts) of authentic G1 figures.

Also, I'm betting his Devastators are fakes - he's sold many that look fantastic, using the same description & pics.

I don't doubt that the Reflectors are KO, but how can you tell for certain from the pics? Or Shockwave for that matter? Just trying to educate myself....

    Thanks!

Reflector has a ton of fine detail flaws that you can't always see in pics. Some of those that clued me in are:
The instructions cover art should be shifted up a half a grid square
One of the blue figures legs is molded wrong (compare the seams with the red figure)
Many of the sticker colors are wrong and some have ill-aligned text or images (you likely need an original to compare with to notice these).

Shockwave has some easy ones, mentioned in here:
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-feedback/239012-ko-shockwave-comparison-review.html
Note though that a running change was made for the KO, changing the eye color to gold like the original.
The screws and shortened hose are the most obvious signs.

The first pics that came out also had a purple barrel end too instead of gray, which actually kinda looked cool. Don't know if they made many or any of those though.
