I realize that Halloween was two and a half months ago but I figured that I'd throw these on ...

You may remember the Soundwave costume I made for my son last year...and after almost cutting my thumb off making it and promising myself that I wouldn't make anymore costumes...well here we go again.

This year my son wanted to be a Scout Trooper...so I thought...how cool would it be to have all my kids be Scout Troopers? So after some negotiations w/my wife :throw (she thought that my daughter should be something a little more girly) I finally got the green light.

The helmets are made from paintball masks, a cheapo dollar store helmet & lots of foam sheets from a craft store. The armor consists of more of the foam sheets, cut-up shampoo bottles & 'soft-goods' camera cases.

It seemed to take forever to get them done but I think it was worth it. The kids had a great time & turned some heads as the 'vertically-challenged' Imperial patrol made their way from door to door.

Most importantly...I didn't need my wife to drive me to the ER this year. LOL:p
