I used the classics figure and basically painted it to match my Masterpiece Skywarp figure. I painted the arms, shoulder, legs, thrusters, feet, wings, tiny chest wheels, and the cockpit seat and nose cone. The main body and leg tops I left alone.

I didn't have any launchers for it so I used Jetfire's gun as seen in the 'before' photo and now I am going to repaint my classic's Starscream launchers to go with this one.

I'm going to purchase stickers from reprolabels to finish it up.

It looks awesome, it does give off a Masterpiece type feel to it.

Just finished making his launchers out of classics starscream's. I also made Jetfire's rifle back into his own after using it with my original skywarp as seen in the 'before' skywarp pic from my initial post.

Looks much better. Never realized how much excess purple Classics Skywarp had.

Very nice! I'm planning to do the same to mine.....let's just say, "it's on the list". This certainly does look much better and it's a better shade of purple than the pinky/purple used in excess on the original.

Looking forward to seeing Thundercracker and Starscream (these are also on my list--already repainted the original Classics Starscream, but I plan to hit my Universe Starscream as well).

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback!

I finished Thundercracker. I totally repainted him from a classics Starscream. I will assemble tomorrow, seal it, and post it. I think it came out great.

HXPUNK23 - Could you post up your repainted Starscream???

Can't wait to see your Thundercracker, man.

Here's a link to my completed customs galleries here (Starscream is at the bottom):

    hXcpunk23's Radicons Gallery

I repainted my Classics Starscream to give it a more realistic look, while still keeping that 'toon look. It was one of my first customs (2nd ever, I think) and looking back, I see a few areas that need touching up (such as the shins and feet areas). I have threads on the forums for those completed galleries, so do a search for my stuff, check 'em out, and feel free to give some comments and constructive criticism.

Your Starscream looks much better than what it used to look like. The panel lining looks great in jet mode! You must've did a wash for that? I've been wanting to do that as well but wasn't sure how to get that look!

I think the only thing you should do is like you said and touch up those shins on him. Your galvatron looks great too!

Thanks, man. I won't take away from your thread here, but I'll hit you with a PM on what I used and did on it.

    Added Wing stripes

Just not the silver accents, yet. It was a slow process and a real pain but I am happy with it!
