My favorite mold so far has to be the GT40. I have to wait until I pick up Rumble and Ravage II to see if they're any better. Least fav: Ram SRT-10.
Best: Mirage. Skids and Grimlock are next, followed by Shockblast. Worst: The Vipers basically have all their articulation restricted to their arms. Optimus/Nemesis Prime, although doing a REALLY great job of being large and intimidating, has an awful, boring transformation, and looks really incomplete (particularly with those massive shoulder pontoons and limited articulation).

Best: Mirage, 2 amazing modes, a rather complex transformation, great posseability. Worst: Prime, he doesn't look like a Prime at all.
Best to worst Mazda RX-8 Ford GT Jaguar XK Ford Mustang Scion Xb Dodge Ram Subaru Impreza Dodge Viper Acura RSX Chevrolet Corvette Jeep Wrangler Honda S2000 I don't particularly like the S2000 and Wrangler moulds for some irrational reason.
After the leg swap, the Acura is really a great mold. Though the damned mirrors snap off all the time, the robot mode itself is great. Best: Ford GT Great in both modes, no horrible issues (the chest can be fixed, though isn't really worth it). Runner-up: Mazda RX-8 Worst: Vipers (all) Nice vehicle modes, really piss-poor bot modes with both limited articulation and an unfinished/unbalanced look. Runner-up: Dodge Ram
Bestest overall: Meister Bestest looking: tie - Smokescreen & Mirage Worstest: Sideswipe (maybe someday I'll get Rumble & Ravage, for complete evaluation)

I keep all of my Alts in alt mode all the time because I aint got a lotta room, so I like all of them equally.
My best : Sunstreaker/Sideswipe/Dead End, Tracks, Skids, Silverstreak. My worst : Prime, Grimlock/Wheeljack, Prime, Prime. I'll probably add Mirage into "best" once I get him
I like them all, but my least favorite is the viper, just because it has such poor posability. the mold has every joint it could ever need, but it's got car parts blocking the knee from moving, and it's got waist armor in the way to keep it from kicking.
I don't have every mold, and definitely not every figure, but from what I do have, my favorites are...crap...looking at my Alt. Shelf, I want to list most of them. But I'm going to say Jazz, Smokescreen, and Mirage. Jazz, because he was the one who got me hooked on the line. Mirage, I don't know, I can't pin down why I like this guy so much. He has something about him, I can't explain it. Maybe it's the colors. Smokescreen may well be my favorite, as I didn't really ever want him, largely due to those sponsor decals all over him. I hated the look of those at first, and always figured I'd rather get Silverstreak. But, when TRU had the buy Sideswipe get Smokey free deal, I couldn't not do it. And man, Smokescreen just won me over to no end. The 'bot mode gets the G1-ness almost exactly right, while updating it into a realistic race car from these days. Even the gun looks like the original's. Maybe it's just the low expectations working for him. Worst....if I didn't like the look of a figure, I passed on him. There's Alts. I'd like but don't have, but the ones I deliberately skipped were Optimus Prime, Rollbar, Tracks, Swerve, and Camshaft. Prime appealed at first, but I started to lose interest. Rollbar seemed unnecessary (though I may yet get one to repaint as Trailbreaker), Camshaft, I didn't like the colors, and Tracks, well...I like the Battle Ravage well enough, but I don't like the mold well enough to have two of 'em.
My Favs are the RSX and Scion bx, love these 2 molds. My worst is the viper. sweet alt mode, but his legs bug me. And i like the Ram just thing it shouldn't of been Prime
My favourite is the Viper, Sweet car and two of my fav characters, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Drop kicks are out of the question but I can still get some nice poses and they can stand on one leg! I'm also a fan of the Subarus , Jeeps and Mazdas. Least Fav would be Mirage, Car looks great but I'm not a fan of the bot mode too many floppy parts, Second least fav would be Prime cuz he looks like a truck standing on its Tailgate in bot mode.
the subarus, mustangs and rx8's are the best by miles. add the jeep too actually. awesome cars and bots, posable and stable. the vipers are let down by the legs, mainly the feet.
The Ram is the worst, by far. It represents a decline in engineering and quality, and is really a crappy toy. Mainline-simple transformation, terrible floppiness, awful colors, poor articulation...it even lacks a 'normal' opening hood. Its the largest alt, but also among the lightest. Hugely dissapointing. Honorable mention for the worst includes: The Vipers, the RT versions more than Sideswipe, just becuase Sideswipes back kibble can be managed, Rollbar/Ricochet, both for their QC/cheapness. My Rollbar came with a broken part, and he is bereft of the paint apps the other jeeps got. Terrible. Ricochet doesn't fit together...he is warped in a number of places, a result of over use of a good mold. The best is much harder to call. Mustangs - Articulated, great car mode, big, lots of weapons. Mirage - ARTICULATION, solid construction, great car mode, two guns. Honorable mention to Silverstreak and Smokescreen, who look great and, I think, pose better than the Mazdas.
