I like some of the paint jobs so much better that I may be dumb enough to hemhorrage some money on them. But what's the best way to do so in your opinion? Thanks.

You got a few options of online vendors.

BBTS, TFsource, Robotkingdom, and HLJ(directly from Japan) to name a few.

First, accept the fact that those paint jobs are going to cost you 3-4 times what the Generations releases will set you back. Then follow Angelwave's advice. Rinse and repeat for the next few months.

Seriously. Why in the world are they doing this to the US customers? I'm so confused.

Think about it this way. Jazz for instance in Japan cost round about $25 retail. They are given better paint jobs but the cost is then passed on to the consumer. As you can imagine, that would not fly over here in the US.

True. But I'll assume when he used the verbage 'hemhorraging cash' that he was in a location where the Generations releases would be a cheaper alternative. If not, there really would be no reason to start this thread.

Transformers and a lot of other toys are more expensive in other parts of the world because Americans are just too damn cheap to pay the full price for stuff, ie: $30 MP Skywarp.

Still exclusive to TRU right? I mean, I never collected Animated, but the Deluxe class figures were not priced at that, were they?

Toyarena has United #1 to #10 already and they have a $5 off coupon code when you buy $50 of United Figures. Code expires 1/3/2011. Code is 92LP3H

BBTS + POL = your best chance to save a little cash on them. or at least the shipping.

at some places yes, TRU did not have a uniform price on these figures. In Austin, they are running 16 dollars but thats only for the exclusive figures:eek: . Normal Deluxe figures are still 11.99 (still high!)
