HI all. Ive been collecting Transformers for about a dozen years now, or maybe a bit more now (seeing as I remember getting my first weh I was 3...)

Anyway, after seeing the variety of collection pics Im considering pulling out all of my old Tfs and arranging them for some form of group shot. I currently would have near or just over 150 transformers from generation 2 right up to and including cybertron, classics and alternators. Every single one of them is out of box in varying condition (with the exception of a RobotMasters R-Blade I have which is MISB on account of the fact that I got two). The smallest I have is some form of minicon (one of them, I've got so many) and the largest are Supreme Cyb. Starscream, Optimal Optimus, Rid Optimus and Ultra Magnus and BW TM2 Megatron. However the vast majority of them are basic and deluxes from the assorted generations.

What would be the best way to arrange them for a cumulative shot. Would a desk be the best way, or on the floor, or perhaps on some form of shelf?

    Thanks in advance

If you're displaying it all at once, I'd go with the biggest toys at the back and get smaller as you go forward.

Hey, someone else from Perth! Welcome.

I've got all mine on shelves, but if you wanted to do a one off group shot, I'd set them all up on a table.

Definitely sounds like your best bet. If you want to organize it even more I would go by factions, like Bots on the left and Cons on the right.

I only have alternators and masterpeice out but I have them at the end of the books on a bookshelf, two per shelf then the rest on the top with masterpeice prime, starscream, and soon to be megs.

Like they said, big guys in back-little guys up front - good lighting - clean flat surface and background...no ashtrays or empty beer bottles either..

Just doing final arranging now. I tried to do it be generation but going back as far as the RiD era Iv got about 4 surviving bots ( I know, shameful), so it kinda goes (from left to right) Armada, Alternators, Energon, Cybertron, Everything else (BW, BM, Univ etc etc etc)

    Pics rather soon

I get mine at Bed,Bath Beyond, or Linens & Things. Anywhere with a good kitchen dept. These are kitchen cabinet shelf organizers... They range btw $10 -15. They are great for TFs...but really only smaller ones. The steps are too small for most Voyagers and bigger.
