    Prowl has just been added.

To me his voice and character has been a little generic. He doesn't really stand out amongst some of the other TF bots.

So while its interesting to listen to the 4 variations, I would have to say that TF Animated's Jeff Bennett gives Prowl more distinction

Prowl is cool because his character is never the same in each of these incarnations. He was more of a commanding presence in G1, more of a younger, eager fighter in Energon, and a more calculating and philosophical (?) in TFA.

I'm going to be honest, Peter Cullen's voice has improved with age. His voice in the film was amazing, and much better than what I felt was kind of generic in G1, although in G1 it was more mechanized. I like Gary Chalk the best out of the tv only Primes; Kaplan is very generic and Kaye is playing a completely different kind of Optimus.

Kaye though is by far the best Megatron in my mind, he is very calculating and ruthless as a general. Welker is all over the place.... I'm not a big fan... and Burton is a bit monotone. His RiD voice is terrible imo.

Starscream, I like them all. I like how Kenny brings a bit more confidence to him while still paying a great homage to Latta. I think Dobson nailed the ambitious and noble SS from the Unicron Trilogy.

Glad to see so many characters are getting added.

Everyone should go check out Prowl, Rodimus Prime, and Ultra Magnus!

Agreed. I'd like to see more pre-90's clips for the Marvel & DC heroes as well.

Also, they need to add Doug Parker as Starscream in Beast Wars ;)

The website has been updated with Unicorn and the obvious best one is good ol' Mr. Welles.

However, Roger Carmel does a good imatation of Orson Welles and Mark Acheson's Unicron is creepy. Acheson should do the Fallen.

If you guys have any more suggestions please let me know - Now that I have a few under my belt (prowl, unicron, duke) I should be getting a bit faster with them - I should have some time this week to add more if anyone has a character they would like to see first...

    Ebay:
Question: Is there a way to compare the diffrent voices each actor has done? ie. Can I look up Peter Cullen and hear all the voices he's done in a particular series? I'm at work now and don't have the time to explore, but that's something I'd be interesed in hearing. If it's not an option now, you should consider adding it.

Oh, yeah , someone forgot to do RID Ultra Magnus of the show's greatest characters.

On a side note, I have my one year anniversary as a member on these forums. Yay me!

I totally didn't realize they didn't do RiD Magnus either. I want to see a comparisson of Sky/Jetfire and Omega Supreme.

How 'bout a comparison for Soundwave?

annnd Grimlock? There's the original, R.I.D. (completely nothing at all like G1 lol) and Animated.

This should be done, despite the fact Scott McNeil's Jetfire would win easily over Greg Burger, Brian Drummond, and Tom Kenny.

So hard to choose on some of these. Of the one just added:

Prowl - Surprisingly found myself voting for the RID guy, sounded a lot like Bell but with a bit more character, I always prefer Bell as Sideswipe anyway, since the voices sound so similar.

Rodimus - Gautier, love Judd too, but Gautier is the voice I hear in my head as Rodimus where as I hear Judd's voice as Hot Rod. Still I love how Paul Dobson sounds so completely different and I don't mind because Rodimus sounds so cool.

Magnus - such talent, they all sound so good, but I went with the original Stack here. But look, Jack Angel's UM is actually going to try and "deal with" their other selves, haha. Forgot that line was in there.

    Welles for Unicron.

I really love hearing the similarities between all these voices and how even though each actor has their own spin on the character a certain "type" of voice has been established for each character as a general standard to go by, and it's nice to see that consistancy for the most part over the decades.

I'd like a Bumblebee compare next - G1, Movie, TFA, and make sure to add Gilvezan to the Spider-Man pile too.

Oh, and the Ninja Turtles at some point would be really fun ones to compare too, both movie and cartoon voices.

And more female comparisons please, like the X-Women.

I can see this site becoming potentially very big for lots of animation fans in general.
