I got lucky (for once) and scored a MP Thundercracker during the first online offering Wednesday. I picked up the WalMart MP Skywarp when it was on clearance a few years ago. Now all I need is the squadron leader to complete my seeker trio.

The question(s) I have for community members is, which version of the MP SS should I seek out? Right now, IGear's traitor is probably the cheapest and easiest to get (still available through their shop). Are any of the other Takara or Hasbro versions (OK, I guess that's limited to WalMart) better or worth the (probably) higher cost? Should I wait for Hasbro to offer their SS version of MP-11?

I doubt Hasbro will offer up a better MP-11 Starscream than Takara. That one is hands down the best in my opinion...

Takara MP-11 is pretty much sold out everywhere. Your best off crossing your fingers and hope hasbro release their version. Not sure how keen they'd be though as they've already released a masterpiece starscream.

MP-11 hands down. I pre-ordered it and paid probably more than twice what MP Thundercracker is at retail. And it is TOTALLY worth the money.

Ok, so the consensus so far is MP-11...

What makes it so great and where would the best place to get it be besides eBay? Has anyone had success with Crave (heard it went under??) or shelflifex (limited listings)? As mentioned earlier, it looks to be sold out on most US retailers.

He still has Starscream and is a member of the forums! Check him out.

As for what makes MP-11 awesome, You'd have to read his feedback

Here is what I had to say about it

Well, what are the options? MP-03, US MP-03 (Walscream), iGear and MP-11?

Of course the latest official version is going to be the best. In fact, the order of quality from worst to best is probably the same as the release order.

Now, to be honest, I wouldn't put my eggs in Hasbro releasing a Starscream. They've already done a Starscream, and they've already done an MP-11 mold. The fact they opted to make the recent TRU exclusive Thundercracker makes me believe that all the more...

I'd get MP-11. iGear one is cheap but it just doesn't look as good.

I'd echo the comments here - MP 11 is AWESOME!!! He is the best SS to date.

I've got the G1 SS, Robot Masters, Classics (awesome as well), and the Walmart version, plus MP 11. My main problem with the Walmart MP SS is the well documented hip kibble, that really bugged me. MP 11 fixed all that, is very poseable, and very anime-accurate. An awesome toy.

You can probably look on ebay for him, and we may eventually see a Hasbro version, who knows? I was a little surprised that MP 11 seems to have sold out already, but I guess there is always demand for SS, particularly when the mold is this awesome.

Likewise, is he from the USA? That would save in shipping

I suppose, he doesn't advertise much on the forums but he is a regular staple at conventions like Botcon for instance.

You guys really have to look beyond BBTS/TFSOURCE/Robotkingdom. There are a ton of smaller guys that provide AMAZING service; He is one of them.
