These are my fave three Universe / Henkie too.

Cyclonus has no kibble in bot mode and a great transformation, but the alt mode is his weak point.
Sunny and Sides have awsome alt modes, some kibble in bot mode and a slightly fiddly transformation.
Being completely objective Hound wins with a fantastic alt mode, kibble free bot mode, a clever yet intuitive transformation and comes with Ravage !!! He is almost the perfect update.

However I can't be objective........ Sunny and Sides are my Fave Autobots and the emotion and nostalga of having updated, articulated twins wins for me.

I would have to say MP Grimlock. I know it is not technically the same line, but the scale is a good match so in MY collection he is classics. If not that then CC.

I must be the only one not crazy over Cyclonus. He's a really goof figure, but the colours are blech and the arm posability is kinda awkward. Other than that he's fine, but far from perfect.

I can't believe I forgot about Sideswipe/Sunstreaker. Still not as fun as Hound, but high up there for me.

Sideswipe/Sunstreaker and Hound are my faves. I think they are the ones who have been perfectly updated.
I wish the Ironhide/Ratchet mold was been as solid a figure as they are.

New molds: Hound. I love the colours, the transformation, both alt-mode and robot-mode just look fantastic.

Repaint: Overkill. I love the Classics Grimlock mold and the blue/white colour scheme suits it IMO, especially in robot-mode.

I have to agree. The colours don't bother me so much, but I find Cyclonus' arms to be awkward. He's a good toy and one I'm very happy to have in my collection, but he really doesn't stand out of the crowd for me.

Nope, I"m also not crazy over Cyclonus :p . A lot of TFW2005 members have recommended me that figure, but I haven't bought him yet due to the robot design. Seems awkward as I'm more into the cool Movie TFs. Aside from that, I can't say much about posability and quality.. What's the worst thing about him?

Worst is probably the arms. Because they slide up unto his shoulders for the transformation it makes the way they move a little odd. It's really not that bad, but doesn't feel as 'natural' as as others who would have ball jointed shoulders.

Honestly, if movie designs are what you like even the best Universe figure is likely to be less desirable to you than what might be seen as a 'more flawed' movie toy. If you like Cyclonus' bot- and alt-modes, he's great. If one or the other doesn't work for you, no matter how well recommended, you'll still probably enjoy other toys more.

True.. I would prefer the more cool Movie bots. Just wanted to know the pros and cons of getting Universe Cyclonus, that's all :)

    Thanks for the info ;)

Tough call since I really love so many of the Universe releases. So I'll cheat just a little bit.

    Decepticon- Cyclonus

    Autobot- Hound

    Robot Heroes- Soundwave

I was really, really impressed with Onslaught. For the first time ever I felt I finally had a Decepticon on my shelf that could wipe the floor with any Autobot that stood in his way.

Wheelie.....what? he displays well with my MP Grimlock

Henkei Cyclonus. Not much of a fan of the Universe colours, but the mold is great. Plus I always loved targetmasters from the G1 line, so that only makes me love it even more.

Hmm..I suppose Classics Prime is not allowed because of the Universe. In that case I will say Nemesis Prime since he did come out under the Universe line!! I cheat, I know. Seriously though, I haven't gotten that much enjoyment out of a regular line Optimus Prime figure in a long time. He's just such a great figure with awesome articulation, details and poses.

Cyclonus. I cannot find no flaws with that figure.
