There is absolutely nothing wrong with Testors, even the little jars.

These are what I use and can easily recommend:

    ENAMELS:

    Testors
    Testors Model Master
    Humbrol

    ACRYLICS:

    Testors Model Master
    Tamiya
    Mr. Hobby

    URETHANES:

    Createx

    LACQUERS:

    Testors Metalizers
    Alclad
    House of Kolor
    Kustom Kolor

    SPRAY CANS:

    Tamiya
    Krylon Fusions
    Duplicolor
    Colorbond

Some are airbrush only, some require multi stage applications, all require reading the instructions!

I use Tamiya Sprays primarily at the moment. Starting to look into an Airbrush set to use Tamiya bottles.

It's really about what's available to you, and what works best for you. For some people it's Krylon Fusion, for others it's Tamiya.

    Ebay:
I use Duplicolor finish system sprayed with airbrush at 30-35 PSI, this paint is a lacquer and is reduced with acetone, what makes it adhere to plastic and so minimizes chips. it is little expensive but is worth to try(well for me is great, but i just customize G1 toys, i tell you this because newer transformers toys have lots of parts made with plastics that are not affected by acetone, so the paint will not adhere as good as with ABS)

for minor details i use testors acrylics.
