Which toy do you think is the best, with all modes being great.

The only triple changer I own is actually Animated Blitzwing, and I love him.

But I was wondering of other sweet triple's

    Pics are strongly encouraged ;)

True, despite the lack of articulation G1 Blitzwing and Astrotrain are still the best of all of 'em all three modes work well.

Plus I'm an old timer and I just have a soft spot in my heart for them!

I own only two: Uni. Tankor (Octane) and Ani. Blitzwing. Universe wins in alt modes, Animated wins with the fact it's dead-on the insane character from the show.

G1 Blitzwing is a close second to Astrotrain. If it weren't for the entire tank turret visibile in jet mode, I'd probably stick it at #1.

Fortress Maximus, because you can kill a man if you throw the toy hard enough.

Agreed :thumb . Octane isn't as good as Astrotrain, and Blitzwing is a little too cartoonish for my taste..

this, astrotrain had no visible parts of either alt mode showing in the other and was dead on each mode, articulation be damned, they still haven't beaten his design

I really like G1 Blitzwing, even with the tank turret visible in jet mode. I also like Metroplex' alt. modes more than I thought I would once I got a hold of him.

octane doesnt look as good as blitz and astro

Broadside is ok.. more so on the same level as octane

springer and sandtorm 5th and 6th...

    autobot wise,

my favorite triple changer would be Sandstorm, his two altermodes, look almost NOTHING like each other. and yet they both look like what they are supposed to be. and both look AMAZING too.

unlike Broadside, that only looks good in one mode, *carrier* and the jet, well, looks more like an after thought. springer's ok. but his car and choper modes, look WAY too close to being the same thing. heck, one looks like a car, and the other looks like a flying car.

    decepticon wise.

    tough choice.

i like astrotrain, because he a really good robot mode, a nice shuttle, and a nice train mode. and all three look great by themselves.

how ever, i think i still prefer blitzwing. because he's a tank, and he's a jet. and well, tanks are just a LITTLE more fun, then a space chu-chu... :lol

these triple changers are way better then any triple changer to come out later though, i must admit.

the universe and classic's ones, *and tfa's* are great. but just do not have the feel of the g1's. but... octane/tankor, does look a HECK of a lot better in tfu, then he did in g1... :lol

BUT none of them beat the awesomeness, of sixshot and greatshot... :p

Sandstorm is my favorite. I always found myself picking that thing up to fiddle with it. I no longer have one though.
