It's a full color resin kit, 16" tall Wonder Festival exclusive. After taking into account shipping and a set of ball joints (sold separately) it's looking to be about 200 bucks total. Painful on the wallet...but oh so tempting.

That is a thing of beauty! I'd buy one for sure if it came with the necessary joints... and... you know... wasn't 200 bucks...

It's so sad that there's such a lack of Samus action figures. Aside from this I can only really think about the old JoyRide Studios Samus (Which I've been hunting for forever myself... only saw one on Ebay a year or so back, but never had money at the time :cry  )
This is such a perfect sample on how well the design can translate into a toy, and given the popularity of the franchise I could imagine them selling quite well.

    no kidding.

I bet Max Factory's Figma line would be awesome for a Samus fig too.

    Max Factory would THUMP it.

    Bandai would ROCK it.

    Hot Toys would DESTROY it.

Wow, very nice figure. Too bad it costs so much according to you guys. :(  And they somehow managed to make her look more feminine in this form.

Sigh, how I've wished for this to be real. Samus is one of my favorite video game characters. A perfect combination of POWER ARMOR and BADASS LADY that I'm so fond of.

I saw these pictures on 4chan a few nights ago, and I was incredibly excited. Then I saw that it was a fan production by the same group that did the "Incredibly sexy, not-so-accurate, and certainly NSFW" GaoGaiGar femme-bots.

A line of Smash Brother figures with Revoltech style joints would be one of the greatest things ever....and I don't even like playing Smash Bros.

It's a garage kit so relying on pre-made, professional Ball Joint sets probably keeps their costs down while raising the quality of the toy itself since they don't have to engineer their own joint structure.

if it were all painted and together already, I'd consider it. Boy, TokyoHunter really adds some surcharge to that thing though.

Erm, I'm afraid the dude who posted about this made an error. This Samus kit is not 16 inches tall, it's 16 centimeters, which means it's a smidge taller than 6 inches.

    Slight difference. :D

    ...crap, I did :lol

Actually though, I meant 6"...I guess that 1 just snuck in there.

Regardless, he apparently can only get 2 so he's not able to supply everyone afterall

For $200 it should actually transform into a morph ball.
