All Atkinson’s roles are just all so incredible and yet inimitable: the scheming yet ineffectual Blackadder, the prim and proper yet goodhearted Zazu and of course Mr Bean, the greatest mime England brought out since Charlie Chaplin.

My vote is for Mr Bean. He’s a truly universal character, whose situations are both ordinary and bizarre, who gets himself into scrapes but manages to get himself out (in a unique, though not always successful manner). These clips below prove his limitless appeal:

The Trouble With Mr. Bean part 3/3 - YouTube (I like to think he’s fighting Waspinator for some strange reason)
Mr.Bean Animated Series Episode 2 Season 1 Lost Teddy - YouTube (This is just so awesome and yet poignant)

Although I watched Mr Bean quite regularly when I was younger, in my personal opinion I still think his best role is as Edmund Blackadder....That and I also thought he was pretty hilarious in Hot Shots Part Deux as Dexter Hayman.

BlackAdder by a country mile. Bean is great (or at least the early ones were) but both the DIRE movie and the choice to have the character speak more and more spoiled things enormously. I enjoyed his Olympic cameo though!

Of course he was excellent in Not The Nine O'Clock News as well.

There are lots of role I know he's in.

    Blackadder: Prince Edmund
    The Witches: Mr. Stringer
    Rat Race: Enrico Pollini
    Scooby Doo: Emile Mondavarious
    Johnny English: Johnny English

But I think my favorite is Mr. Bean.

Mr Bean all the way. I've seen him in other things but I can't remember any of his character's names. Never knew it was him in the Lion King. Honestly can't remember who Zazu even was since I haven't seen it in over a decade.

Different Blackadder's should possibly be considered different characters.
,,,,in which case i'm voting for Blackadder the 3rd.

Blackadder. Then Bean. Blackadder is more my style of humour but Bean is accessible to more people. The others characters I'm not too fussed about.
