As the title implies :)  What is your favorite Robot Combination Sequence? List the series, name of the mecha and a link to a video of the sequence, if possible.

I'm voting for Genesic Gaogaigar combination, from the "final" series of the show: http://tinyurl.com/2y82hg

This is also a shameless attempt at hearing about other mecha series I know I've missed. My favs are the shows that have combining mecha, that's the stuff.

Favourite TF combo is from the Superlink Special, where you see the three Energon combiners combine. All three sequences are great.

Other anime - Genesic Gaogaigar is awesome, holding out hopes for something equally cool later in Gurren Lagann, and on the old school side, Gunbuster's combination sequence was amazingly cool, especially the way it synched with the music.

The Nemesis Breaker and Galvatron's combination scene from Cybertron was pretty cool.

I've always really liked the formation of the Time Force Megazord from Power Rangers Time Force. It looks neat and you really get to see how the Time Fliers form the various parts of both red and blue modes.

I liked the Optimus Prime & Ultra Magnus combining into Omega Prime sequence, from RID!

I'll second that, have you ever seen the last combination in the final episode of Car Robots? The music for that scene, the end credits Marionette, is perfectly timed, it comes in right as they start combining and plays through into the first part of the big final battle. You don't need to know Japanese to enjoy that bit.

Seconded, that really was snazzy. Especially with the centre part of Devastator doing the wierd laugh thing.

I've a soft spot for the "ohh HELL!" combination of Devastator in the Movie.
"I've got better things to do today then die" pegs him in the back and the bugger ignores it.

    ....THE HELL?

I wish I had caught the end of Energon now!

The Energon Combiner clips are amazing too.

I hope they release Energon on DVD soon.

Gunbuster's Combination scene was hella awesome and was one of my first animated "giant robots formed from multiple things" moments ever. Also, Gunbuster just kicks all kind of ass right after transforming.

I definitely need to check out Gurren-Lagann. Gunbuster looks neat to.
