My wife got me a PS3 for Christmas. What games should I look into?
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune.
People will tell you some other games, no doubt, do not listen to their lies.
Uncharted, Unreal tournament 3, Ratchet & Clank, the Simpsons game, Lair, Resistance, Heavenly Sword
Remember what I said about the lies.
So with my new PS, i need some cool games. something along the lines of action or FPS. What do you recommend?
Rent heavenly sword unless the price has dropped.
Heavenly Sword, CoD 4, Unreal tournament, Resistance, the Darkness
I recommend: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=160944
I mean really, we don't need a half dozen or more "recommend me some games" threads.
Heavenly Sword is definately not worth a purchase since it has about 5 hrs of play in it. A decent rental though. Can't speak for FPS cause to me they all pretty much suck.
Lulz I ruined Christmas.
So i summed up to these:
- Heavly Sword
- Cod4 ( how are the controls?)
- Dinasty Warriors Gundam
- Assasin´s Creed
So is gonna be one of these. If anyone can come up with another good title I´m all hears ( I already have Uncharted and a friend of mine is gonna lend me his Resistance Fall of Man)
If you are looking for an FPS you could always get UT3.
motorstorm dammit! and uncharted. and assassins creed. NOT transformers though.
What he said. I beat that game more than a week ago and I still play it.
I second or third motorstorm and recomend Gundam Crossfire as well. Also ratchet and clank
Actually, let me add an oldie (but definitely a goodie). If you want the BIGGEST bang for your buck, and you haven't played it already, get The Elders Scrolls: Oblivion Game of the Year (The Brown box, not the white one)... or, even if you get the White box, which is down to 25 bucks now, you will not be dissapointed. You simply never run out of things to do in that game, and the world to explore is huge. The graphics still hold up, despite the game being more than a year and a half old, and if you get the brown box (or buy the expansion Shivering Isles later) you will add even more content to an already giant game. Hell, aside from not being as polished in the areas that those respective games are, most of the things you do in Assassin's Creed, you do in Oblivion without the fancy animations. But you do sneak into towns at night, stab someone in the back, and run out. If you get caught, you don't just die, you get put in jail and serve your time, but while you're in jail, you can talk to some of the other prisoners and get some wind on an underground thieves guild that you would have no insight to if you hadn't been inprisoned in the first place. You can become a vampire, and/or if you kill enough with reckless abandon, someone will find you while you are at an inn and invite you to join a dark brotherhood. Everything you do in the game has some kind of consequence. It's what Peter Mollexue (or however you spell it) promised with Fable but didn't deliver. .... Though Fable was still fun.
Still one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
edit: hehehe, this is the game that I Red Ringed my first 360 with, that's how much I played it.
