Not sure if this has already been asked, but now that the Prime line is being released in more places, what does everyone think to be the best Prime figure? I have FE BB and RID Soundwave and, of the two, I think Soundwave is miles past Bumblebee. While I do genuinely like FE Bee, Soundwave is so accurate to the CGI model AND he's solid in both forms (no parts flopping around).

EDIT: Added a poll (let me know if I missed any)

If it was from FE, Voyager Optimus Prime or Bulkhead. From RID, Wheeljack or Soundwave.

Takara FE Optimus and Bulkhead are most impressive, as is FE Cliffjumper. RiD Wheeljack and Soundwave are neat too. I also dig the Takara FE Vehicon even with the inaccurate kibble.

    RiD 'Bee.

Because his transformation is never annoying.

FE Cliffjumper. From an articulation standpoint, and engineering standpoint, and even "fun" standpoint, he's the best. Bulkhead is second place, but a lack of real, viable articulation at the legs really puts him below Cliffjumper.

Well for me, the FE Starscream stands towers above everything else, where the next tier down would include the FE Prime & FE Vehicon.

It'll ultimately come down to preference, but yeah.

RiD Cliffjumper is pretty sexy, too. His transformation is interesting and typically not annoying and his robot mode looks mean and active.

Of the ones I own, Wheeljack is a favorite though FE Cliff is locked in epic battle with him.

Of what I have (all first edition), I think Starscream>Optimus Prime = Cliffjumper>Bumblebee>Arcee. Once I get Bulkhead on Monday, I have a feeling I'll like him a bit more than Optimus Prime. If I had Vehicon, I'd probably put him above Bumblebee but below CJ and Prime.

Of the non first edition ones, Arcee, Soundwave, and Vehicon are probably my favorites.

Of the ones I've got, either Wheeljack, Starscream or FE Cliff. Can't decide which I'm most fond of. Don't have Bulkhead but he looks to be one the best as well

Honestly, I don't even have a favorite...they're all fairly solid figures and that's the thing about this line... it's like some look better than others but they all have their drawbacks too... both FE and RID, and overall it's just a solid line where the characters really compliment each other.

That's why I really want this line to stay on track and get completed, because none are "must have" by themselves, but the line as a whole is just killer on a shelf together.

My favorite is FE Starscream, but since getting the entertainment pack, I really like the deluxe FE Megatron. Very cool figure.

Tie between FE Bulkhead and FE Cliffjumper, although RiD Wheeljack gets an honorable mention.

So with all these Cliffjumper mentions, what makes FE better than RID (or vise versa)?

rid version has a fake chest, goofy limbs and enough kibble to clutter his appearance all of which make it an easy pass imo.

FE has a wonderful transformation that doesn't cheat (other than some wheels sculpted on the back of his thighs, I question their existance), almost no kibble on his back, great proportions and incredibly expressive articulation. Also has flip out arm cannons, which are an excellent bonus to the rest of him.

FE is nice looking, but boring.

RiD is slightly off looking, but loads of fun.

Seriously, I haven't touched my FE Cliffjumper in a week or so, but I've been playing with RiD Cliffjumper nonstop.
